UK Online Centre
In 2009 GCC became registered as an approved UK Online Centre. The purpose of UK online centres is to provide the public with access to computers and to provide help and support on how to effectively use computers enabling them to improve their ICT skills to benefit their lives, strengthen their communities and help them achieve better social inclusion.
GCC encourages learners to use online training resources called myguide and online basics. They are a simple web platform designed to make getting online easy, and were developed by the UK online centres team at Ufi in consultation with a wide variety of partners.
